Not just sportsmen and -women have the chance to join the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Linz-Ottensheim:

In order to make our event a big success, the Organising Committee is looking for about 200 volunteers who would like to help during, before and after the racing-days (between Saturday, 20th July and Monday, 29th July 2013). Helping hands are needed in areas like:

-logistics

-technical (information technology, results distribution service, communication)

-victory ceremony

-accreditation, information, transportation, tourist-information, event programme)

-marketing (sponsoring, VIP service, photo, video)

-press/media (press centre, public relations)

-and more

What we offer in return:

Every team member of the World Rowing Under 23 Championships - starting from the president of the Organising Committee - is working voluntarily and unpaid. Nevertheless, for your help we are able to offer: 

-accreditation to the World Rowing U23 Championships

-food and accommodation

-compensation for travel expenses in particular cases (upon previous request)

-written confirmation about your volunteering for your CV

-Polo-shirt

-working experience in an international environment

-a lot of fun

A minimum age of 16 years is required, a passion for sports - especially rowing - is desired.
